Stopped in on my way through the town and will definitely go back. Ordered a chicken parm sandwich (because in Delorenzo's it's not a sub, it's a sandwich). I'll be honest, my stomach was not feeling awesome later that day, but... that was probably because there was an INSANE amount of cheese on that sub! Sandwich, sorry... you had chicken, sauce, cheese, and then it's toasted so that the cheese just dominates that sub... sandwich. I was impressed and had a great talk with the owner behind the counter while I was paying. I'm actually looking forward to my next trip through there!

Great food. Their pizza is excellent as well as the rest of their menu items. Cheese steaks, chicken parmigiana, antipasto salad, manicotti, stuffed shells, etc.. Excellent service, great employees and great atmosphere. A local's favorite.

It's a small place but we were sat down very quickly a lot of people here which is a good sign that the food is good. I had the chicken Parm which came with the salad and I have to say it was one the biggest portions I've ever gotten in my life also it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants good Italian food

It strikes me odd when I give one of our "regulars" only 3 stars but continue to frequent a place for 20 years! That translates into "I'm satisfied with the things most important to me and accepting of their short comings". The wait can be long at dinner hour on weekends. They accept reservations early in the day and have expanded with a second dinning room next door; the entrance is through the Pizzeria. Portions are huge and you will leave with dinner for the following night. All meals come with a decent house salad, warm bread and butter. Drinks are served in tall plastic cups (one Of the small things I don't like). Service is fast an efficient. I have tried a few disappointing choices on the menu so I stick with my favorites. The eggplant is sensational and my usual but chicken parm, clams or mussels over linguini and chicken and spinach are good.

  • David R.

While not the fanciest place the food was very good and plentiful. I got the chicken parm and there was far too much to eat in one sitting... I wound up taking about 2/3 of it home. Would go again.

Been eating here for years and the food is always fresh and hot and abundant. From the salads to the entrees you cant go wrong. Free wine upon request. The fountain ice tea is not so good. Best shrimp Parmesan ever. I'd like to correct a yelper below, they will allow substitutions if they will not impact the quality, or presentation of the food. The refusal to allow sharing is a bid odd and I guess from an owner standpoint it sells more entrees, but all you have to do is use a bread plate or keep the salad plate, they wont stop you.

Delicious! Great restaurant! Very big dishes! The check parm is my favorite. The meal comes with salad and all you can drink wine! Wow ! Great dinner ! Highly Recommend this restaurant !!

Dumpy place but food portions huge! Placing the plates of oversized portions on our table, I felt like this was out of a Flintstones TV show, where they get a huge rack of ribs that could feed an army, or just Fred! The food is good, not great but I can see that people come for the low price and extreme portions. Of course, I took 1/2 my food home.

What's all the fuss about? Maybe, it's because it's the best tomato pie ANYWHERE! If you like a deep dish pizza, then stay away....the lines are too long anyway. But if you like a thin crust true tomato pie....it's the best you'll find.

Seriously the people giving this place such great reviews don't know anything about quality food. There is a huge difference between quality and quantity. Their food tastes terrible, sure they give you a lot but it is really awful. If you ask for a slice of pizza with sausage they will throw sausage on a plain slice and not even cook the sausage!!! Disgusting!

If you like HUGE portion sizes, this is the place for you, other than that, it is just your standard, run-of-the-mill, dumpy Italian restaurant in some strip mall. In terms of the food, the quality is pretty good. I've only gotten Chicken Francese the times I've been, but each and every time it is very tasty and flavorful; it is also huge! I think in terms of portion size, Delorenzo's might serve more food than I have ever had before. Mine comes with two massive pieces of chicken, and pasta. In addition to the major serving size of your meal, it also comes with a house salad that is very good, and bread with a special house dressing (oil and cheese) that is amazing. The tomato sauce is a little bit disappointing, as it tastes like it just comes out of a jar bought from Superfresh, but really I think that is the only thing that isn't up to par. Also, the Chicken Scampi is just grilled chicken with the francese sauce. The food isn't the best Italian I've ever had, but it is certainly a lot better than most other places. Atmosphere-wise, this place is a complete dump. The strip mall area it is located in isn't exactly sporting any Ritz Carlton's or Morton Steakhouses. The last time I went the air conditioner was leaking water on me, something that the staff didn't really seem to care about, or to them seemed normal (I can't decide which one of those is worse). I've also heard stories from friends of flies falling in their food, and other gross things I won't mention on here, but take my word, they aren't pretty. If they spent a few thousand dollars to renovate the place, add some new lighting, paint the walls, and maybe higher an exterminator, I think Delorenzo's would have ranked a bit higher in my book. Service wise is also a bit on the downside. While the food does come out in a decent time, the waitresses are just sub-par in terms of caring and don't seem to pay attention. They write what they are out of on the wall with paper plates. If you come here, don't expect a ritzy atmosphere and the greatest service. You certainly can expect very good food and a lot of it.

You will never be disappointed here whether you get pizza, salads, platters or sandwiches. The portions can be almost disgustingly large, but you can be sure all will be delicious. I've eaten dozens of grilled chicken salads over the year & the delicious marinated chicken is heavenly. The same chicken can be had in a delicious sandwich. I love their calamari & also the chicken parm. Always great food and service in a funky little place that hits the spot.

This place is OK. The food is pretty decent and they do give you large portions. I am obsessed with their house salad dressing, it's great for dipping bread in too! The thing that bothers me is their lack of effort to satisfy their customers. For example they refuse to make any substitutions on ANY dish. Doesn't matter the reason, they don't want to hear it. They also do not allow you to share a plate if you dine in. My husband ordered veal parm , I ordered the chicken parm and told the waitress that I was going to share mine with my 8 year old and she said "I'm sorry, we don't allow sharing of entrees." I could see if this was a fine dining establishment or 5 star place, but it's really a dumpy pizza joint that is surrounded by many others just like it, if not better. Anyway, that was the last time we dined in. We have ordered take out a few times since then and just shared it at home where they can't stop us from sharing (haha), but only a few times and only because I really wanted that house salad dressing!

Not sure about their other food but their pizzas are about average for the area. The crust is pretty good but the cheese is poor quality and salty. Pizza with the works is way overloaded for my tastes leaving the pie very soggy. You need utensils to get through a slice. Cosmo's down the road or Venezia in Yardley are probably better bets for pizza.

  • Joseph V.

Family style is what they should advertise, because the portions are not for one person! Consistently good food with a family feel from their servers. Great stop.

Best italian food in Philadelphia and the surrounding area. I started going here as a kid, and 15+ years later, it's still amazing. If you LOVE garlic, go for the house dressing on the salad and get an extra plate of it to dip the bread (which is warm, but otherwise pretty plain). Chicken parm is consistently amazing. Vodka rigatoni is usually fantastic. Veal marsala, mussels with white sauce, lasagna, manicotti - nothing is ever bad. Free red wine with each meal because the place doesn't have a liquor license. It's acceptable, but I usually bring my own. HUGE portions. I've only once finished my entire meal. Keep in mind, this place isn't fancy. You'll wait a half hour if you don't make reservations, but it's worth it. The decor is nothing special - it's a pizza place. Service is always polite, but keep in mind the waitresses have many tables. Don't expect a substitution on the food (like meatballs with the marinara sauce, or marsala sauce on the pasta) because the owner won't do it. He takes too much pride in his food to let customers "ruin" it. If you have a problem with that, don't come here. But if you can just sit back and enjoy the food and trust him to do what he does best, you'll never be disappointed.

ok. its mothers day. you knew u would be crowded delorenzos!!! so why did you run out of half the stuff on the menu??? and understaff??? we waited way too long for everything. still, the food was great. the portions were twice as big as they needed to be!!! the decor and layout are seriously lacking. and there were millions of kids everywhere being loud and running around. but i dont think the locals care much. they all love delorenzos. they know good food and stick with what they know. i can appreciate this place for that.

Traveling a little Northeast out of Philly you come to Delorenzo's Pizza in Fairless Hills. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant with aviance this place is not for you. If you want excellent food at great prices then you have found it. Delorenzo's is tucked away in a shopping strip in suburban town of Fairless Hills. The food is superb and is served quickly. The food needs to be served quickly due to the constant flow of patrons every day. What impressed me was the size of the entrees always guaranteeing take home for lunch tomorrow. All salads and entrees come with a free carafe of red wine. You need to try the roasted chicken with vegetables or the Chicken Caesar salad \and of course their large variety of pasta and pizza dishes.

my family and I have been coming here basically my whole life.the food is so mouth watering here. my favorites have to be the house salad, tuna and italian hoagie, baked ziti, and angel hair with mussels. SO GOOD

Don't go here if you want atmosphere or pretty surroundings because you won't get it. If you want lots of food- then DeLorenzo's is your place. Only one negative. The one thing to comment on is that if you ask for extra sauce for chicken parm, they give you a small bowl of what I can only describe as awful tomato soup instead of the sauce that comes on the actual chicken. This didn't work for me and I wasn't sure if I would return or not. I wish they would have given me the sauce that was on the chicken. I guess you have to ask for it. Next time I'll know better.

We were out in Fairless Hills waiting to go to the Hemlock Fishing Seminar and thought we would stop by and have a slice of Delorenzo's Pizza. We were seated right away and changed our mind and had dinner instead because of the crowd of people there. "It must be good". After getting our meals and tasting we thought, "what are these people thinking". The clams and spaghetti were so over salted that I could not finish. The cheese steak resembled a steak umm on a hot dog bun and was over salted as well. The waitress completely missed serving the house salad which looked good on other people tables. In our opinion, the only good selling feature is that you get a box to take home because the food is so bad you can't bear to finish it. We did not try the pizza but it looked OK but we don't think we will stop by to try it. We really did not want to give this place a star but it is our only choice.

I have been coming here for years with my family and have never been disappointed. This isn't the kind of place you dress up for...it s basically a very casual pizza place, tucked away in a shopping center but don't let that stop you- the food is great! The portions are huge (I always have left-overs) and the prices are reasonable. I usually get the chicken parm or the veal parm. It's a great place to go if you just want to be comfortable and EAT.

When friends and family come from out of town and want to go to dinner, we take them to DeLorenzo's. On the outside it looks like your typical pizza place but don't let this fool you. DeLorenzo's makes a delicious dinner with many filling options. This time was no different. We brought 10 friends for dinner and they raved about it. The chicken parmesan can feed 3 to 4 people. Don't short change yourself though, it is so good you will want leftovers. The meal starts with baskets of bread and a simple house salad. The house dressing is really tasty and is an oil based garlic flavor with a spice to it. You could fill up on bread and salad. My wife ordered the Lasagna which is really for 2 people. It wasn't meat based, The sauce is a lighter more flavorful sauce and has just the right combination of pasta and cheese without sacrificing flavor. It is really quite the dish. Now the chicken parmesan comes out on a large oval plate. Mind you they are 4 thinly, excellently breaded cutlets over the pasta of your choice. In my case I select angel hair. Now I can eat a lot. I barely put a dent in one cutlet. Also ordered the meatballs for the table which I definitely recommend. I've never tasted such a strongly flavorful meaty yet not tough meatball ever. A MUST TRY! Now there are places that just give you a lot of food then there are places that give you a small portion of flavor but never both. DeLorenzo's is the only place I've ever been that gives too much food packed with flavor. Goto DeLorenzo's don't order pizza. Pick your favorite italian dish and enjoy!

Hands down the best pizza in the neighborhood. No question about it. However, I must say over the last two months or so, placing a take-out order via phone has becoming extremely unpleasant. The last three times I have called, I have had to repeat my order three to four times before the person taking order got it right. I am not talking about an order of multiple items, I order one pizza and every time, I have to repeat the toppings at least three times. It is frustrating and needs to stop. Please have someone else answer the phone.

I started with the Caesar. Prefer croutons over olives but the dressing was above average. The bread was toasted but seemed dry. I had the Lasagna - tasty and plentiful - meat could have been more plentiful - but was overall the dish was good. Service was excellent! She was consistent with everything and made herself available but not overbearing. This place is not a palace, but I'm OK with that - they seem to do it right. WIfe had the chicken parm which she loved (enough for three meals). Overall I'd try it again - would like to try the pizza.

Outrageously good food, huge portions, low prices. Crumby surroundings lose it a star but servers are great. Food came out quickly but cooked perfectly. I made 3 meals out of my veal. Eggplant lasagna was a big hit with my wife, The salads were better than expected and the bread was served hot. Kids are quite welcome. Drive too fast and you'll miss it. Be careful in the oddly shaped and poorly paved parking lot. We came from 30 minutes away, passing dozens of similar restaurants. It was worth the trip.
